Geoff Pike - my old man hated him, but it was his hard work that let the skills of Devonshire and Brooking off the leash

When we played in the cup against arsenal I was late in the ground (had to piss in a sink!)
As I walked up to get my seat Arsenal had a free kick, and Bergkamp curled a beauty towards to top corner
Lama tipped it over
I think the whole ground applauded him

Re: Unsung Heroes
I'll go with Ron Boyce too. With all our stars, we were much better when he played. So many of our goals featured a pass from him somewhere in the build up, usually a one touch.

Danny Invincible.

Bagpuss gave him a months trial in 2000.

I remember thinking this bloke sounds amazing. "Just give the ball to Danny Invicible".

Re: Unsung Heroes
Hayden Mullins was one of the worst players to play for us in the top flight. And how was Steve Potts unsung? Probably the most overated player we've ever had.
